<span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">The Moon and other objects should be visible through the college's large telescopes, operated by Robert Boedeker, Edith Robinson, and others from 7:00-8:30 pm. (Moonrise is at about 6 pm, Sunset is at about 7 pm). Dr. Wayne Pryor, CAC's astronomy professor, will give a talk about the Moon and NASA's plans to explore it from 7:30-8:00 pm. Dr. Sunjung Park, one of our biology professors, will also have microscopes out for viewing desert creatures like scorpions and cockroaches up close.
<span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Weather permitting, we would like to invite the public to come to the observatory at the Signal Peak Campus on Friday, April 11th from 7:00-8:30 pm. The observatory is uphill from the other buildings on campus, behind the O and T buildings, with handicapped access from the north end of the T building.
