Back by popular demand! Hailed as a “prodigiously gifted composer and virtuoso pianist,” James Fernando creates music that lies at the intersection of jazz, classical, and electronic music. He relies on his genre-expanding original compositions to deliver thought provoking and exciting performances on some of the world’s most renowned stages. The Berklee College of Music graduate has five albums to his name and has collaborated with award winning artists internationally. James is on faculty at Levine Music in Washington, D.C. and has served as a Strathmore Artist in Residence.  NOTE: Due to the continued closure of the Pence Center, this concert will be held off campus in the Casa Grande area. Dave Stamey is one of the most popular and celebrated Western entertainers performing today, Stamey has received multiple awards from the Western Music Association, including entertainer of the year (seven times), male performer of the year (seven times) and songwriter of the year (five times) and in 2016, was inducted into the International Western Music Hall of Fame.  NOTE: This concert will be held on the lawn outside of the F Building at CAC Superstition Mountain Campus, 805 S. Known for his true-to-life visions of the West, his audiences attest that his songs come from authentic experience with a bit of romance and humor added for good measure. With the real, foot-in-the-stirrup life Stamey has lived, he has found no shortage of inspiration, especially when horses, mules, dogs or cattle are involved. In 2022, lifelong friends Nico Rhodes and Patrick Courtin were taken aback by the stark realization that the piano had fallen out of favour. Determined to restore its luster and reclaim its title as the ultimate instrument, they embarked on an exhilarating journey. Drawing inspiration from the masterpieces of legendary composers, songwriters, and performers over the last three centuries, they crafted a mesmerizing show that spans the spectrum from classical piano masterpieces to vibrant boogie-woogie, romantic ballads, and epic 80s synth battles in Piano Heist: Keys are the Champions! This enchanting experience unfolds as a delightful blend of theatrical magic, humour, audience engagement, touching narratives, a sprinkle of history, and an explosion of musical creativity.
